Cleveland Ohio is a large city with a diverse population and offers a wide range of cultural experience. Cleveland features five major cultural institutions that include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Museum of Art. There are so many opportunities to learn new things and to have one of a kind experiences.
Rock and Roll Hall of fame
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located at 1100 E 9th st in Cleveland Ohio. Tickets cost 28 dollars and they are open from 10 am to 530 pm and offer extended hours on Wednesday and in the summer. This museum features 6 floors of rock and roll history. Woodstock at 50 is a new and exciting exhibit that tells the story of the performers and the festival and explains what it meant to the people of the time. Cleveland Museum of Art
The Cleveland Museum of art is located at 11150 East Boulevard and the hours you can visit are Tuesday through Sunday and has extended hour on Wednesday and Friday. The museum is free to the public. There is a cafe on-site for you to enjoy. Currently, they have an exhibit called Tiffinay in Bloom this is an in-depth look into stained glass Tiffany lamps created by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Other exhibits include a photography exhibit Lie Wei: invisible cities and Color and Comfort Swedish modern design. Be sure to take check the website for the current exhibitions and events.
Playhouse Square
Playhouse Square is the nation’s 2nd largest performing arts center. The box office is located at the Key State Theater lobby 1519 Euclid ave. You can also check the website for events and tickets They are touring partners with Broadway so you can see Broadway’s greatest shows on your trip You can look for a variety of performances here it is home to the Tri-City Jazz Fest and Great Lakes Theater and more. The parking garage is located at 1450 Chester avenue and you can pay and park yourself or utilize valet parking s services. You can plan your trip around seeing a show at this great venue.
Cleveland Botanical Gardens
The Cleveland Botanical Gardens are located at 11030 East blvd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am through 5 pm with extended hours on Wednesday till 9 pm. Sunday they are open noon to 5 pm. The cost of admission is 15 dollars for adults and 10 dollars for children members and children 2 and under are free. Come explore the 11 beautiful gardens including a rose garden, Japanese, and inspirational garden. Your Kids will be sure to enjoy the Hersey Children’s Garden they can explore the exhibits and interactive activities. The botanicals gardens are fun to explore all year long.
